Meet the Doctor & Staff

Dentist PERRY W. SARLE, DMD

"I look forward to the daily opportunity to renew my relationships with my existing patients, as well as welcome new patients to the practice. I like to think of patients as family, and I will always provide the same dental treatment and education to my "dental family" as I would provide for my own family."

Dr. Sarle received his DMD from Case Western Reserve University after completing a rigorous six-year (combined undergraduate and graduate) program. He served three years in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Parris Is., SC, where his duty included rotations in all dental specialities. After operating private practices in Anderson, SC, and Westerville, he joined the practice of his childhood dentist, Dr. Nick Huston, in Worthington. The practice moved to Lewis Center in 2005. Dr. Sarle lives in Galena with his wife, Jean, and three daughters, Eleanor, Margaret and Evelyn.

Hygienist SARAH MARTY, RDH

Sarah became a member of our dental team in July 2010. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a BA in English. Sarah furthered her education and obtained a BS in dental hygiene from West Liberty State University. She establishes an easy rapport with her patients, and she is especially good with children.

Sarah lives in Worthington with her son, Jack. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Hygienist DEBORAH CHILCOTE, RDH, EFDA

Deb has been part of our dental hygiene team since May, 2011. She received a BA from Tiffin University in 1981, and subsequently pursued a career change, graduating Ohio State University in 1997 as a dental hygienist and Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) . She relates well with her patients and is a strong believer in patient education. Deb, originally from Sycamore, resides in Columbus with her husband, Doug and their 3 cats. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, reading and crafts.

Dental Auxiliary and Assistant YASMIN BOND, CDA, EFDA

Yasmin has been with Lewis Center Family Dentistry since 2008. She works with Dr. Sarle as an EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary), a certification she obtained from Ohio State University. She brings expertise and enthusiasm to the practice, and she is Dr. Sarle's go-to staff member and right-hand man.

Yasmin lives in Lewis Center with her husband, David, and 2 children, Zoe and Zac. She enjoys participating in triahtlons and 1/2 marathons.

Patient and Financial Co-ordinator MARIA WHEELER

Maria will warmly greet you as you arrive for your appointment. As patient and financial co-ordinator, she will be there to address all non-clinical questions and requests. Maria has been in the dental field for 16 years, beginning her career as a dental assistant. She has attended Kent State University and Stark State Technical College. She is knowledgeable about dental insurance and will happily help you with any insurance issues.

Maria and her fiance', Shawn, are Westerville residents. Together they enjoy hiking, camping and snow skiing.

Office Manager CAROLYN JOHNSON

Carolyn joined our office as manager in 2009. She has 30 continuous years of dental front office and administrative experience. Carolyn is a strong patient advocate, and she believes each patient's experience should be exceptional.

Carolyn and her hsuband, Steve, are Worthington residents. They have 2 daughters, Katie and Chris, and 2 granchildren, Isobel and Jack.
